Gomez Addams Costume in 2026: Where to Buy, and Why
Last updated June 11, 2026
Gomez Addams is the easy half of an Addams pairing, and the costume is essentially one outfit: a pinstripe suit, slicked-back hair, and a thin mustache land the besotted patriarch instantly.
The suit does the heavy lifting, but the mustache and slicked hair are what tip it from a guy in a striped suit to Gomez — so whichever kit you pick, plan the hair.
Officially licensed; polyester pinstripe jacket with attached pocket chain, pants, tie, and mustache
Spirit adds the pocket chain and free shipping — the same $59.99 four-piece kit (jacket, pants, tie, mustache) with an attached pocket chain, sizes S–XL.
A pinstripe suit from your closet or a thrift rack, hair slicked back, and a drawn or stick-on mustache nail Gomez without a costume kit. The suit just has to read pinstripe.
Per-retailer reviews
HalloweenCostumes.com — the full review
HalloweenCostumes.com builds Gomez off the 1960s TV version: a purple-pinstripe, double-breasted four-piece — jacket, pants, clip tie, and a stick-on mustache — for $59.99, in sizes S through XL.
The cut leans period over generic-gangster, which is the draw if you want the retro Gomez rather than a plain striped suit. The one thing to plan for: the white dress shirt underneath sells separately.
Spirit’s Gomez is the same $59.99 four-piece — jacket, pants, tie, mustache — with two edges: an attached pocket chain built into the jacket, and free shipping over $40, which this clears.
It’s licensed and movie-styled rather than locked to the 1960s cut. Shoes and a cigar aren’t included, so add those if you want the full pose.
Both kits: adult S through XL, true to costume sizing; the jacket-and-pants set layers over a white shirt.
HalloweenCostumes.com: white shirt sold separately — most people already own one.
The mustache: both include a basic stick-on; for a sharper look, the Amazon wig-and-mustache kit below is the upgrade.
Also at Amazon
If you want Prime shipping, the same Spirit-branded Gomez kit sells on Amazon at $59.99, where it carries 3.9 stars across 74 Amazon reviews. The more useful Amazon buy is the upgrade: a Rubies Gomez wig-and-mustache kit runs about $22.98 (3.8 stars, 458 Amazon reviews) and sharpens the slicked hair and ‘stache the costume kits only approximate.
We don’t anchor a verdict on Amazon, and the links earn us nothing. It’s here for the Prime option and the hair upgrade.
